Ministry Area – Community Life 

Reports To –Community Life Pastor 

Time Commitment – Part-Time (10 hrs/wk) 

Pay Rate – $8200 annually ($16.92/hr)



 Essential Functions: 

  • Love, support, connect, and equip women in all seasons, of any age, and with any background. 
  • Not just be a “doer” of tasks, but a developer of people and teams. 
  • Execute all activities, events, and programs assigned and related to women with excellence 
  • Network, identify, and unearth potential servant-leaders for Women’s Events 
  • Champion the vision of Grace, the Community Life ministry, and by extension the ministry to women by participating/leading meetings, initiating training, shepherding servant-leaders, and being a consistent voice for Women’s Events. 
  • Create and implement opportunities for people to take their next step from the larger group environments (Sunday gathering/events) and into more relational environments 
  • Partner with other ministry areas to increase the overall impact of Women’s Events at Grace 
  • Meet regularly with Pastor overseeing the Women’s Events
  • Help to identify, create, and develop a Women’s Leadership Team who can assist in the creative and implementation process
  • Identify training needs for Leadership Team members and find opportunities to meet these needs.
  • Contact Women’s Leadership Team members as needed, and at a minimum on a monthly basis. 
  • Pray regularly for Women’s Events and the women of the church and community. 
  • Other duties as needed. 


Other Functions: 

  • Participate in staff and other meetings as necessary 
  • On occasion may be asked to participate in other ministry related activities 
  • Do whatever it takes to further the vision, mission, and strategy of Grace 


Minimum Position Requirements: 

  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Relate well to other people in a friendly, supportive manner 
  • Have an eye for details and an ability to edit written articles from a variety of sources 
  • Be both highly organized and flexible. Be able to respond to input from multiple people. 
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
  • Highly committed to supporting the work and vision of Grace
  • Must currently or quickly be able and willing to uphold and cast vision, mission and strategy of the Grace Community Church
  • Must currently tithe or be willing to begin tithing
  • Must be available to be in office on 3-4 days during the week
  • Must be flexible and willing to step out of comfort zone when need be
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
